anyone know where i can get a set of torque bits (6 point star bits) with holes in center.

 

any home improvement store.. lowes.. ace hardware.. places of that nature

Yeah, you should be able to get them at any auto store or even Sears. The ones with the hole in the center a referred to as Tamper Proof Torx bits. Just in caes the guys at the stores are wondering what you need.

 

I picked a whole set of 19 at O'Reilly or whatever it is called.. It has regular torx bits and the ones with the holes in them that you are looking for...

 

You're looking for a Torx bit. The regular Torx bit is a star shape, if your bit needs to be the inverse of that (so it has a star-shaped hole, a star-shaped screw would go into it), you're looking for an e-torx bit. I got a set of e-torx bits from sears.

 

Security torx bits can also be found at harbor freight. Maybe their online store also.
