Default Chipping paint

What is the best way to patch up chipping paint without repainting the section?

Please help, I don't like to use black marker

use touch up paint from ford the matches the color, use a pin to apply the paint within the chip and not around. use little amounts and coat 2 or 3 times if needed

that's the only way I know of other than sanding it down, using filler and blowing it in to match. Depends on how bad the chip is and how old the paint is......black is one of those difficult colors to match when "blowing in" because it fades.

What does everyone think is best? Should I just pay $1000 to have it fixed by auto shop or should I fix it myself (and maybe look pretty bad :P)?
