so i went to Ford for a tranny TSB...as you may have read in my last post...and they broke my transmission. so they said they were going to order me a new one and put it in and stuff...it was under warranty. that was on monday. they said it would take a few days to get in the transmission and then prolly a day to install it. but then they called on tuesday and said it was finished and ready for pickup. so...my question is...is there anything i can do or ask to make sure they gave me a new transmission? should i ask for an invoice? a warranty on the new tranny? anything?


also...does the new transmission come with a new clutch or did they reuse the clutch out of my old one. i dont know much about transmissions sorry if its a stupid question.

 

Looking at it will tell you if its new. It will be very clean. They should give you an invoice and I think they warranty them for 12000 miles or something like that. Lastly, yes they will use your existing clutch as long as it was in good working order.
