Does anyone know where i might find clear and in depth instructions on how to rewire the 87-93 fox mustang fog lights to run w/OUT the headlights having to be on? Found plenty of sites for the later model stangs but none for this year. THX for any INFO guys!

 

cut the main power feed wire going from the fuse box to the switch, and wire a new one from the battery to that wire that you just cut going into the main foglight switch. this will make the fogs go on, without any other lights.

if you do this and your car gets ****ed up, its not my falt. its just simple wiring, same as the other year stangs, but if you want your fogs to work with your parking lights, then i have no idea at all.

 

Thanks for the tip but i know i can do that, i was kinda hoping there was a way to rewire it as in the sn95 where you just splice into the vert power as it is right next to the fog switch and you dont need to run a whole new wire all the way from the batt.

 

I have an 89 gt, the right fog doesnt work. I am guessing burnt/bad wiring, it isnt the bulb or switch.

Is there a tech article or anything that would tell me how to rewire the fogl light, with relays?
