Default Wheel Ticking

My left front wheel has a on going ticking noise. I can hear from in the car echoing off of parked cars as I pass them, normally at lower speeds. I have had this noise for a month or two now and I have no idea what it could be. Honestly I have yet to take the wheel off and look for myself but I dont think I would know what to look for. Any ideas let me know, thanks.

Look the tire over real good. It could be as simple as a stone stuck in your tread.

you could be real lucky and it just be a nail.

jack it up an spin that wheel buy hand if you still hear the ticking then its some thing worse. but its most likely a rock or a nail just inspect the tread real close.

Check to see if the backing plate is not rubbing the rotor.

Check your lug nuts.. Loose nuts can make a slight noise at first.. Untill your tire falls off..
