Default Calibrate Speedometer?

I posted before, but about gears, so i dont think anyone answered my question. I have 4.10 gears, but yet to install them. Once i get them intalled, do i need a new speedometer?
or can i recalibrate it...how much will this cost

What year stang do you have?

99+ you can recalibrate with just a tuner.

98 back you have to either use a speed gear (which isnt nearly enough for 4.10's), or a speed cal.

Don`t buy the speedo gear. They aren`t accurate. Get a speedcal. They are dead on.

Exactly. the 23 tooth gear is made for 3.55's.. anything over that it wont do you any good.
I ordered my speed cal off of mustang tuning. when you order, you will see a coupon field... put mustangboards in there and you get a discount as well

with a 99 up you can used a hand held tuner or there are afew companies that make speed calibration boxes that work in a simlar way but have to be wired in or you can go with the gear its self. lots of choices with your car.
