If you are planning on a 400+hp motor don't do a T-5. Go with a TKO600.

what do you think of a trans like this?

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0561&langId=-1

You think that would be a good substitute?

Thanks

Chris

Hey no problem man. Your car already looks the part, just needs some go with the show!!!! Just imagine that 427 with a nice cam talkin' S*** at a stoplight and some ricer pulls up. You pat the gas and blow his a** off the road!LOL

That sounds like so much fun. With those enginesas great a deal as they are, i can afford to get whatever engine my father allows.

...Or maybe i won't tell him and go with the 427....[sm=grinangel.gif] haha

Those look like they fit 79-up cars. Im not a transmission expert and am only familiar with Automatics since I run a C4 for the race car and the slush box in my '03. So I wouldnt know. $1600 seems high though.

That trans would work it's a step under the TKO600 that's a TKO500. If you look around you can get a lot better deal than that.
