what year did they convert over to the R134a freeon in ford vehicles? How hard would it be to convert my 89 mustang?

It fairly easy to convert but if your system is working now a better alternative to the conversion is an alternate R 12 substitue called Freeze 12. Do a google search for it. I have info on it at home but i'm at work right now. If you need, I'll post it up later.

There is absolutely nothing under my hood but the steering parts, master cylinder, and transmission cooler. I'm still working on getting an engine and transmission.
