Auto shutoff
I thought there would be a post for this but searches didnt turn up anything
Im pretty sure there is a shutoff chip in my car i just dont want to find out the hard way. its a 2001 v6 and if there is i was wondering what speed it shuts off at and is there a way to bypass it?

There's a point where the fuel cuts off (somewhere around 135 i think?) It's programmed into the computer, you need a hand-held tuner or a chip to change it.
Edit: fuel cutoff just means it will stop the injectors from firing until you drop below that speed again, basically like a rev-limiter

I dont need to reprogram if the shutoff is 135 i thought it was around 100 but we are talking about a v6 not a GT right? Also i have aftermarket tires that the previous owner put on, I can just go to the good year site and check out the rating right?
