Default 87 convretable top busted please help

hello all I have a question ...I recently installed a new radio in my car
now for some strange reason the top doesent work . changed all fuses and relays. I think?. there are 2 relays in trunk by top mtr, 1under dash by strwhl, 1 on the satr mtr relay in eng compt.that should be all fuses.I hope.
is it possible i fried the top motor. When i hit the switch i can hear the relays in the trunk engage. any help would be appreciated. if i can fix it myself, i dont want to have to pay a mech a 100$ to tell me it was something simple.
thank you.

Well dude if you want to make 100% sure youre top motor is gone, Invest into a $30 multi tester, It will save ya alot of hassles, And Save you alot of money from the mechanic too, All the mechanic will do is use a multi tester with his trouble shooting, To find the problem for ya.

I also am having issues with my conv top. I, however, have checked the motor by bench testing it and power is good. replaced both relays to no avail. tested the switch and as far as i can tell it too is ok. what i am seeing at the motor is when i hit the up/down switch, the power wires to the motor are both getting voltage at the same time. Goes like this: activate switch, and signal to both relays activate, they both click, and power to both sides of the motor occurs. this is a reversing polarity motor so the red and yellow wires should alternate between power and ground. Right? did not know about fuse under the hood. Where?
