OK i need some help, I have an SVT FOCUS Fuel Pump to install in my 2000 Mustang GT...problem...how the hell do i do that, ive never done that before...anything would help, thank you!! [sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

very easy install. The tank is held in by the two large ribs running across it. I did this on my own in about 45 minutes without a write up so its pretty self explanitory if you take your time. all you need is the pump itself, so if you have the focus basket- toss it. Remove the four bolts at the gas filler opening. then remove the front two bolts holding in the tank ribs. Bring the tank down unplugging the electical connections as necessary. Then drop the tank as far as it will go. Remove the 6-8 (can't remember how many now) screws holding in the basket top. Remove it, remove the small screws holding in the pump, and unplug it. Then remove the factory pump, replace and take good measures to ensure you don't get any dust in or drop any screws in the tank. Then it is a simple remove and replace, and just put everything back together and put the tank back up. Its pretty easy once you get into the install. Hope that helps!
