The cross member you have now will work.But since its a single hump you cant run duals.
All the cross members are the same.Thew only differences in them is either a single hump or double hump.The cross members will fit all trannies manual or auto.If for some reason the tranny doesnt line up with the cross member look at where the cross member mounts up and you will see that its spot welded you will need to tap the mounts off and move them fowards or backwards to get it in the right spot then spot weld her back up in place.
My 89 was originally a 4 banger and A4LD and i bought a new cross member(DOUBLE HUMP) from ford and the C4 mounted right up with mods or welding.But on a buddies 86 capri we had to move it fowards so you may get lucky.
