Default Blowing airbag/turn signal fuse

Ok I have a 94 GT. I've had the car for 10 years now and I guess it is about time for the electrical problems to start. I noticed that the airbag light was on and I didn't think that was a big deal. Then I noticed the turn signals didn't work. Turns out it was a fuse. The problem is that the fuse blows within 10 seconds of starting the car. My question is for this circuit does anyone have any idea where to start looking for a short? Also, can the airbag system be causing this? At this point if the answer to the second question is yes I just as soon disable the airbag system and forget about it. I have 202,000 miles on the car and while it runs great I don't think it is worth spending $$ to fix the airbags. Thanks.
