Mobil 1

Would it be ok for to switch to mobil 1 on my new 06 Gt with 4,000 miles on it? Also, does the new 06 gt use the ld FL-820S filter? I am moving and i dont know where i packed away my manual.

a.) keep your manual in your glove box
b.) yes you can put synthetic in, but you cannot go back once you have

says some study that says that the sythetic oil makes the seals not able to support the regular oil anymore... oh did I mention that this study was performed by the local rumor department?
