Default Shift Kits for an AOD

I have a 1998 Gt auto.

I'm looking for the best shift kit and where to purchase it. I know B&M's are supposed to be good. WHo else makes one that will fit my car and where can I get one?

Thanks,

Sam

Baumann Engineering makes a good one. they're available from Holcomb Motorsports in Lumberton, NC via mail order.

If you've got a 98 you're running an AODE. Not the AOD. But anyway, I've installed both a B&M and a TransGo. Huge difference. Stay away from the B&M unless you're too cheap to buy the TransGo. TransGo's is way more complete with many additional mods the B&M doesn't touch. My AOD holds second much longer now and will chirp 3rd gear with a 3K stall. Nice!

First of all B&M sucks ***!And is a cheap janky worthless kit.

Second i run a TRANSGO as well and its STOUT to say the least with a 2,000 stall.

I like TCI,TRANSGO those are my choices for shift kits. With the transgo i have my C4 will burn all three gears and not a wimpy scratch im talking from a dead stand still all 3 gears until i let off!
