TORQUE STEER FROM HELL
ive got a 98 cobra and when i take off the car wants to go left, and when i let off without upshifting it wants to go right, its been lowered with steeda springs and monroe shocks, and the lower control arms are aftermarket (i forgot who makes them) with neoprene bushings with grease fittings, ive checked everything and all the bolts are tight and no sign of wear. ive only got 50k on it and i dont know what do do, please help!!

RE: TORQUE STEER FROM HELL
there has to be a bushing that is shot , sometimes you cant see it unless the arms are disconnected . sounds like the rear is trying to turn right , which makes you car go left . torque boxes are not torn i hope , did you ever have slicks on the car? jack your car up from the rear and use a long prybar to see if there is any excessive movement from anywhere . another thing maybe they used bolts that are a lil bit smaller then the hole in the bushings , causing excessive play ,
