Default Intercooler on N/A

could you put an Intercooler on an N/A engine?

would it work?

and what kind of HP gains could you get over a CAI or RAM air?

colder air = more hp right?

an intercooler wouldn't serve any purpose on a NA motor, it would add a whole lot more resistance to the air flow trying to get into the engine and would choke it off something fierce! intercoolers have to be blown through by a huffer or turbo in order to get any air into the motor through one! the whole purpose of the intercooler is to reduce the temperature of the air after it has been compressed by the sc or turbo. you probably don't remember this one, but try PV=nRT, the natural gas law. this basically says if you increase the pressure on a gas, the temperature will go up and vice versa, i.e. T=PV/nR and P=nRT/V.
lesson over, now you have to write 1,000 times on the blackboard............
