well i was looking arround for some parts for my mustang the otherday and I found a 1960S shelby cobra at a wrecker. I could probly take it off his hands for a couple hundred $, lots of stuff is missing from the interiour, seats and other stuff, i just looked at it a bit, was not sure even what car it was... but now i think it was a shelby cobra.... the body is all there not sure if ther is anything under the hood, the wheels are all ther and its almost all ther but interiour, Is the car rare? or what?

If its a legit shelby cobra then yea it would be rare...

I highly doubt it is a real cobra, they are worth well into the 6 figure range and eveyone knows it. The real cars had aluminium bodies not fiberglass so thats one way to tell, but like I said it is 99.99999% not a real Cobra. Take a pic and post it up if can, I'd like to see it anyways.

hmm, it didnt have any rust... i gonna look into it, but its probly not a real one , but maybe? they have 4 bolt rims right? the paint is CRAP, so it aint new

If it is it wouldve never ended up there without someone noticing what it really is! People search high and low everyday for these cars,and most peolpe know what they have when they have it.But there is always one I guess that gets away....Look into it man!!!

Get the VIN tag and go to a shelby site or something to look up the VIN #. That will tell you for sure that its a Shelby. Back then people were fixing thier car to look like that, just like people with V6's make their car look like a GT, and GT guys make thier car look like a Cobra, etc.... Good Luck. I hope it is a Shelby!!!!

4 bolt rims on a Shelby? I don't think so... In fact, did any Mustang have 4 bold rims back in the 60's ??

4 bolt wheels where used on 6cyl. mustangs in the 60s the AC/Cobras had 5 lug.and so did v8 mustangs
