TIRES RUBBING NEED HELP.......
HI I INSTALLED A 2INCH DROP ON MY 87 FORD MUSTANG GT ALL THE WAY AROUND .I ALSO INSTALLED 17 INCH RIMS COBRA R WITH 255/40/17 TIRES. THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING IS THE FRONT TIRES ARE RUBBING ON THE INNER FENDER WELL WHEN I BRAKE OR HIT A POT HOLE. NEED INFO. THANKS

There is an easy fix as long as they are not running too bad.
"Wheel Spacers" As long as your wheels aren't tucked this should fix the problem.
Buddy of mine had to use them on his S-10 and it worked like a charm!

I had 245's at one point on the front and they rubbed. If you're doing a 2" drop you should get adjustable camber/caster plates so you can keep the right dynamics in the suspension. If you're rubbing when you stop hard then you're def too big. If you wanna keep them you might try taking out the inner wheel well, like the plastic liner. Depends on how often you drive it though.

THANKS FOR THE HELP. I THINK I AM GOING TO CHANGE THE SPRINGS TO 1/5. I JUST RECIEVED BOUGHT 245/40/17. I WANT CHECK IF THESE TIRES ARE GOING TO RUB. IF THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS THEN THE SPRING CHANGE NEXT. THANKS
