a/c problems...wot relay location...HELP PLEASE!!
Well, after taking my vehicle to my local ford dealership for my a/c blowing hot, they told me i needed a new ccrm and low pressure switch. Well, i bought the ccrm and jumped the low pressure switch...and still nothing. I then had a mechanic began tracing my electrical system and the plus to the bottom of my compressor wasn't getting any juice? Anyone know where this wire comes from? I'm gonna try to trace it tomorrow back to where there is last power, and hopefully isolate the problem. i also heard from someone that it could be a problem in the wot. What is that and where is it located on a 2000 3.8L v6 mustang?
Also, what do i need to "jump" my compressor just to make sure it isnt that? Cant i run a wire from my battery to it just to make sure it clicks? Well, any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: a/c problems...wot relay location...HELP PLEASE!!
The 'plus' on my mustang (89 5.0) comes from the WOT relay. The WOT relay's purpose is to shut off your compressor to save HP's at Wide Open Throttle. I know this cause I just replaced mine in my 89 GT. The relay's location in me 89 is on the passenger side fenderwall towards the front...but it will be someplace different on a 2000 I bet. Anyway, not sure if you want to just jump compressor with 12volts. Be careful not to jump it if you don't have pressure in the system. Your compressor is meant to compress vapor, not liquid. If your system has liquid in the compressor and you hotwire it you will **** it up. I will attach schematic for my 89. 12V goes through pressure switch, then to WOT relay, then to Compressor.
