if i was you i owuld just get zex if your worried about it hurting your car.
the zex smart box would just shut off the nitrous if car is running too lean.
iam using NOS, but sometimes i wish i would have gone with zex.

Thats what a fuel pressure saftey switch does, it's the same thing the Zex kit has.
