So I have a few electrical type projects planned for my car but my apartment complex parking is only outdoors with no access to electrical outlets. Anyone have any luck with any of these battery powered soldering irons or butane torches for wire connections? I've seen this one on TV a lot but didn't know if it's the real deal or not:

Just looking for something that will work the standard wiring in the electrical system...no crazy 8 ga. wire or anything.
