Cobra for sure.

Diablosport got over 1000hp on a stock bottom end with just the bolt ons and a KB 2.4L blowzilla.

I dont think the new GT can handle that kind of power stock.

I thought the cobra bottom end can only handle 800hp?

Someone said "390 whp" ... 390 on the motor, a healthy stock Cobra will put 350ish to the ground...

The 05 is more of an attention *****, but the Cobra is more of a performance *****. The 05 has more hurdles to overcome for the tuner... meddlesome computer, odd wheel offset, weak internals, weak block, throttle-by-proxy.

imo the new 05 interior isnt that big of a step up. it looks a bit fancier but its still using cheap plastic material. the "chrome" for the air vents arent even chrome its that painted on shiney crap they use. go with the 03/04 cobra, it will be much more worth than an everyday 05/06 GT

I actually like the interior on the cobra better, I enjoy how much more uniform and rounded the interior looks. The immediate power and potential is there for the Cobra, but getting the Newer GT and adding a Charger to it, Like Saleen or Roush is another thing. For me I think the independant rear is what would sell me on the car, its just a far better all around car. The only lean I have towards the GTs is how many people are jumping on the Mustang Bandwagon with the new body style and parts and accessories will be more abundant than ever.
Tough Choice, but for Jump out of the gate, The Cobra for sure

Cobra without a doubt. They have much more potential, look better and are more of a proven performer.
+1 all the way.
