i need to know excatly what a fox body mustang because im getting confused with what people tell me. please help

 

79-93 is fox body

 

those are all fox bodies.

but dont get confused with the "fox chassis" that was used from 79-04.

 

so my 92 mustang lx is a fox body?

 

yes. it was based on the 1978 Fairmont. the body style which was changed moderately over 14 years, was the same basic "edgy" design. although like i said before, the chassis designed for the 1979 mustang, did not change until 2005.
