Is there a fuse or anything that would be more accessible?

There should be a fuse in the fuse block thats in the dash. You will need your owners manual to locate it in a Ford b/c they are not labeled on the block. BTW tampering with saftey device such as airbags, seatbelts, antilock brakes etc... is illegal. At least it is where I live it is. I would check into it before I did it if I was you. About the only way I could think of that you could get caught is if you had an accident of if you sold the car.

There are lots of reasons someone would need to disable the airbag, and I dont have an owners manual so if anyone could help me figure this out I have a 90 GT.

thanks
