Hey everyone. I recently bought a used 2003 Mustang Cobra.
I noticed when i shift, and my friend noticed it too. That when you try to shift fast, it seems to not let you. And it does not shift real smooth when driving normally. I especially notice it in third gear. What could be the problem?

 

clutch adjustment? How many miles on it? Fluid in trans good/up to level?

could be a lot of things... possibly a TOB

 

It has 25,000 miles. My friend said it might be my synchronizer. I dont know much about Manual transmissions. I'll probably just take it to the dealer. It's still under warrenty.

 

Yeah, it sounds like the typical synchro problem. Warranty will cover it.
