Default Gen TECH: Hand turning engine after storage

I have a 91 ford mustang LX with a 2.3L engine. It's been in storage for about 8 months now and I was woundering if someone could give me some advice on how to start it up safely. I have head about turning the engine a few times before actualy starting but i have no clue how to do this. I someone coiuld give me some advice on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest way is to take a large socket on a breaker bar & stick it to the crankshaft bolt on the front of the engine. Give that a few turns

Pull the distributor out. Use a big drill and priming tool to prime the engine with oil. Spin the drill counter clockwise untill all the rockers have oil flowing over them. You may need to turn the engine by hand a little bit to line the lifters up with the oil holes.

OR

Pull the coil wire ( disable the ignition ) and crank it over until it has oil pressure.

Do both! JUST DON'T FORGET THE SOCKET WRENCH ON THE CRANK IF YOU CRANK IT OVER WITH THE STARTER! Ouch!~

The balancer bolt is 15/16" by the way...
