Default Fuel Pump constantly running

Here's a good one for all of you. My fuel pump is no longer shutting off. It just continues running even when the key is out of the ignition, lol. It sound like there is a leak in the fuel line around the intake, but I cannot smell anything or see anything leaking. I can hear the "hissing" noise. Any ideas? It is dark and I cannot get a great look, but I know there is nothing physically leaking out of the line. Could this be a blown injector o-ring?

the hissing could just be the fuel boiling in the injectors or intake valve area due to the heat after you shut it off. don't know what to tell you about the fuel pump. sorry!

Well first of all disconnect your battery so you don't have all this fuel everywhere. Then see if you can figure out what the problem is.

I disconnected the battery as soon as I realized it would not shut off. The car was not hot when I heard the hissing noise. There is still nothing leaking and no "gas" smell anywhere near the fuel line or injectors. I am stumped. I will play with it today and let you all know what I find. Any ideas would be appreciated, lol.

I drove it for about 20 minutes today after swapping my TPS sensor. When I connected the battery, the fuel pump cut on and stayed on. When I came back home and shut the car off, the pump cut off and remained off. I have no idea what the hell that was all about.... lol. Guess the GT just wanted some attention.

Sometimes if they're in a bad mood they don't wanna cooperate.
