Lowering Springs - 97 GT Hardtop
I know, I know .... there are a million posts on here about lowering springs and what to use, etc .... but I read all those and was left with nothing in the way of clear answers. I don't have the money to go with all new shocks/struts, so I want to get just the springs right now. What springs do you suggest with stock shocks/struts, and how much drop will that get me? My first bit of shopping around has been on ebay ... take a look at these and tell me what you think. Obviously, they are no-names and I'm really not considering them as a possible purchase .. unless someone here happens to be able to speak for the product/manufacturer.

I would go with the FRPP C springs. You will still be able to use your stock suspension componets and get about a 1.3 inch drop. If you go much more than that you will need to upgrade your struts/shocks and get c/c plates. You can also consider the Eibach pro kit with a 1.5 inch drop but that is kinda pushing it unless you want to buy tires every 6 months. Don't buy that no name crap on ebay buy quality parts for your stang so you know what you are getting.

Well, i'm lookin for more then just a 1.3" drop, so maybe I should just save my $ up for a whole shock/strut/spring combo. Are the Toxico (?) ones alright? What's the least expensive yet good quality?
