Visiter to the USA looking for an idea on trunk space
Hi all, I live in London, England and in a few months I'm flying to LA for a 3 week road trip around the western states with a friend of mine and we've hired a Mustang convertible for the jouney (if you're gonna do a road trip, might as well do it properly!) Now I'm pretty deffinate that it's the new 2005 model although there is a chance that it's the older one. I don't suppose anyone can help me with working out what luggage would fit in the boot or trunk as I believe you call it :-) There is two of us going and for three weeks so we're looking at alot. We were thinking about taking 2x 27" suitcases and 2x large soft holdals But if we can get bigger than that in there that would be great. Now I'm gonna really take the mick, does anyone have any pics at all of their trunk, maybe even with luggage in or a suitcase in? I know the 2005 model's trunk is 9.7 cubic feet, but that doesn't really help. Big thanks to all of you in advance.

I did consider only packing a bit and then doing laundry but I barely know how to do that here, let alone try and figure out how to work those laundrymat places

Ooh, here's another question you might be able to help me with, we're planning on driving through Arizona, Utah, Nevada and California, should there be any problem with mobile reception through..... sorry, cell phone reception through the desert areas. Don't wanna be driving for hundreds of miles and then all of a sudden the car breaks down and our phones don't work!
