Default whats this noise

hey guys, i got a question about my 97 cobra. I just got it less than 2 months ago and never really noticed this sound till recently. When i release the clutch it makes a pretty loud squeak. Its a king cobra clutch and only has about 1000 miles on it if this means anything. Does anybody know what the squeak is and if theres anything i can do to get rid of it. Thanks, jeff

Its probably a noise you are hearing because of the increased pressure needing to disengage the clutch, its rubbing somewhere. I would get a friend under the car for you and push the clutch in to see if it is an outside noise. If not get someone under the dash with a big left arm and push it in :P Try to listen for where it is coming from. You should also conceder changing your clutch quadrant over to a billet piece, the stock factory plastic piece is weak and it would suck for that to break miles away from home. You can also get a firewall adjuster to help with tension.
