gas peddle/dead peddle-install
I bought a set of builit footpeddle(not the ones you tap/screw into the exosting peddles), but the actual replacement ones.
I got the brake, but I can't figure out how to replace the gas peddle. There one screw, but nothing to put a screwdriver into.
I've had no luck getting direction from the people i bought it from(california mustang), any one know how to do this ?????

what you think is a screw sounds more like a rivet to me. rivets hold things together like screws, but they don't have any threads, they are smooth sided and the opposite end from the head end is peened over or expanded so it cannot pull out. you have to drill out the head of a rivet or cut the head off with a chisel or a cut off wheel, then you can drive it out with a punch
you don't really need another rivet, just get a bolt the same size and just long enough to go through and use a self locking nut on it to hold it in place. factories use rivets when they believe the fastener will never need to be removed, but you might want to change the pedal again someday, you never know.
