Default noises at air filter housing

what's up guys. just got my GT on tuesday. it's the best thing i've ever done. it drives like a dream. anyways, i was idling on my driveway and i heard a sucking/vibration/drum from a distance sound from my stock air filter. is this noise normal? let me know. thanks.

Sucking is a normal sound, vibration noises could be from it rubbing on something or it's not fitting in right, take it off and clean it then put it back together.. make sure Mass air is in right too.... You say its a stock filter but is the air induction setup all stock also?

the car is brand new. i haven't done anything to it yet. decided to go for a spin today and noticed the noise. it's like an inconsistant humming. what do you think?

could be just the air entering the filter causing the pleats to vibrate at a low frequency sorta like you make noise with a kazoo. if it's bothering you that much, take it back to the dealer and get them to listen to it and see what they say.
