I was wondering if a rear out of at fox body mustang that is 8.8 rear end with it fit in a 68 mustang with a 302 out of a 72 mustang work

 

Yes but you need the drive shaft shortened or longered and the yoke joint the thing that goes into the back or the tranny needs to be replaced and thats it just bolt it right in. But the rear you need some seroius fab work on it. Its easier to just sell it and buy just a 8 inch or get a 9 inch out of your era mustang and rebuild it with the best stuff.
