Guys, since I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Mustang GT, I'm
looking for a mod friendly dealer in the Los Angeles (or So. Cal) area.

I may just do the standard bolt on mods (Intake, exh. gears, and tune) but
am also considering skipping all that and just
going with a dealer installed supercharger (preferably Whipple or Saleen...both twin screws)
but would want to make sure it retains my warranty.
I heard Roush has authorized dealers that allows the warranty to be retained, but would
prefer a twin screw to the Roots s/c.

So, which dealers in So. Cal. are REALLY mod friendly?

I always see galpin ford at the car shows around here, and they have modded cars, assume what you will from their presence.

I kinda of thought that to be the case too.
Galpin, being the largest Ford dealer in the country, does A LOT of
customizing of cars THEMSELVES.
You can go to their dealership to see cars with all kinds of mods done and
you can BUY the cars that way, so I would assume they will honor the warranties.

But, I was hoping one of the other dealers that aren't so gigantic might
also be very supportive of modding (as long as they do the work) and might
offer a bit more personalized service.

So, if anybody has taken their cars to other local Ford dealers and haven't
had any negative issues with modding, please let me know.

Anybody?

There's gotta be someone on these boards in So. Cal. whose modified their GT and taken
it to there local dealer and they've been fine with the mods.
