anyone here an insurance agent, or a kid (teenager) who drives a 99-01 gt? I can afford the car, now insurance is a little different. I drive a "gt"model car now, and it $1200 every 6 months so 2400 for the year, how much would it jump for the 99-01 gt?

Go online or call your insurance agent. Rates depend on age, driving record, location, engine/car and other factors. You can get a general idea on here, but for an exact quote you definitely want to get in touch with your insurance company.

 

I would doubt it would jump much if at all.

My insurance for a Mazda6 is more than one for a new 06 GT. The 6 is just a 4 cyl!

 

depends, my buddy in mass for a 99 GT was gonna pay 4300 a year[:'(]

 

I hate to tell you this but untill you turn 25 or get married your pretty much f'd. It's part of life bud. Anything car that is sporty, has a V-8, or a "GT", your going to pay out the rump for good coverage.

 

thats because it is faster.

 

When I was in my mid 20's insurance on a 10 year old car, for just liability insrance was going to be $150 a month. If I wanted collision, comprehensive it was almost 270 a month, car value @ $3500. Now its a little better but not by much, for liability only its down to $105 and that on my probe.... Havent even checked what it is on the stang in a while.
