Jeep brought up a great point. Put the car in the hands of a pro driver, then I'll believe it.

And 2 mpg above stock can be contributed to traveling at 5 mph less, a higher tire psi, less **** in the vehicle, tail winds........

Again, I bought them to save money because I commute 41 miles to work. I wasn't looking for a cheap power adder, but 2/10ths being a good driver and a tail wind is still 2/10th.
Not to mention the $37.00 a month I save on fuel that I can buy other upgrades with. I believe it is also the same thing as a tornado, different company. But the product works and has already paid for itself, so Im happy and 93stang will either buy it or not, his choice.

Now someone explain excatally hhow this peice of tin works?

I dont know if I buy that crap about improved gas and horsepower.!

I mean by twisting air you get better gas milage and = horse power?

I was thinking by putting that in your inlet tube you'd lose horse power by jamming up the tube?

On this topic I've also seen TB spacers that are rifled. That seems to have more credibility then the tornados.

if the air coming in is "twisting" or breaking up faster than normal, you in turn should be able to supposedly burn fuel quicker and more efficently, thats what they are trying to do with this thing. i might believe the gas mileage, but sorry the 2 tenths is pushing it for me!

yeah... I dont buy it either or it would have been brought up on here a long time ago and everyone would have made a bigger deal about it. Like I said... I dont believe it at all.

I am forced to agree. I dont see how this could possibly add speed to the airflow anyway. You cant make free energy, it has to come from someplace. Completly throwing away automotive here its the conservation of energy law. The airflow won't speed up on its own.

Besides, the only place it would be twisting is the spot where it goes thru the spiralmax. After it goes thru the intake it will be all broken up again. I would say your "gains" are more from careful driving and improved skills (on both the milage and the times).
