Well its either 2 things youre clutch is completely gone, or youre clutch hydraulic cyl is gone, First to tell if youre clutch is gone where does youre clutch grab from bottom or top? Does youre clutch make rattle at idle? If you rat racing all the time youre clutch will wear out, try those troulbe shoots they will tell what could be wrong.

Could be your clutch cable is ready to give up as well.

Hmmm, rereading e40water's answer, did the 91's have a hydraulic clutch? I don't think so, but I'm still new to Mustangs. Check to see if you have a cable going to the bell housing, or a hydraulic line, then maybe we can help steer you in thew right direction.

It's most likely either the clutch cable is stretched or the pressure plate of the clutch has gone out. I'd check to see if there is any play in the clutch cable..if not then the pressure plate is most likely the culprit

The important this is if it's smooth, not how heavy. If you just bought the car yes, it's gonna be a lot heavier then most cars. If it's hard as in feels gunked up that may be the problem.
