Default More gear questions...

1. I have a 95 gt vert that had a fresh rearend rebuild prior to my purchasing of the car (moron went with the factory gears in the rebuild) and I would like to know if I were to do a swap over to 3:73's would I be able to reuse the bearing kit or would the different sized gearing effect the size of the bearings?

2. I have a friend of a friend that rebuilds rearends at a local dealership that may do the swap for a 12 pack of heineken (sp?), I would like to know how long the swap would take from start to finish in the hands of a professional?

Thanks in advance.

You will need a new bearing kit for sure.
A 12 pack is well worth it if you ask me. He should have it done within 4 hours topps. Thats with breaks in between.
