Default Drone

Hey guys... I got a dumb question. What does it mean when someone says their exhaust has a 'drone' at a certain RPM? I still a little new to this and I was wondering what that meant... thanks.

the frequency resonates with the cars interior frequency. Example, if i have my bass guitar turned way up i can play a certain key and make the house shake cause the frequency is resonating with the wood in the walls.

Now that is a great description. Usually the "drone" is associated with Flowmaster mufflers, and it usually occurs between 1800-2200 rpms.
