I have a 95 5.0 cobra and want to install gears. It has stock 3:08s in rite now. I wanted to know from you guys that have 3:73 5.0s what the rpms are like when your cruising highway speed like 70mph. also any other things you dont like or info you have would be cool.The tranny is the t5 5spd. <SPAN class=smText>

you can figure that out with a lil math and your tire size , off the top of my head my 355 at 70 may have been like over 2500 maybe 3000, if some one dosent beat me to it ,ill post it for u ,k

 

not that it reall helps, but my blown v6 cruises at 2200 at 70 with 3.55 gears

 

Get 373's, it's like day &amp; night , I had them on my 5.0 and my car ran all motor spanking blown and nitrous mustangs..

 

3.73 rearend will be your best bet. You will be fine running on the highway. A 3.73 will be perfect for you to do other mods as well without killing your car. Great gears.
