I have 16" Pony's on my car and I have Sumitomo Srixon4 tires on them. I am running a 225/50/16 all the way around. I have done a lot of suspension work which includes X2C Boxed upper and lower rear control arms, Eibach springs, Tokico Illumina Struts and shocks and Steeda c/c plates, so I don't have a whole lot of fender clearance. My fron tires are almost new but my back ones are like slicks. I can't really afford a set of 4, I would like to just get 2 new ones for the back. But I would like to put something a little wider back there. What size should I run? Would a 245/45/16 be about the same height as what I have up front? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
