I saw this on Ebay. It says it is for a stang. So in your oppinion this is not a good cheap option to the intake systems that range from $170-$200+

Man, if you're looking for something in that price range you can go with the complete Densecharger #4 meter forward system for only $129 or the complete #4 system with the Pro-M MAF meter for only $280 (Meter alone retails over $200). Look into buying quality and not something that just looks good.

I think the Steeda one has a larger (longer) air filter on it. In my book, that larger surface area means more airflow. I got the K&N FIPK and somehow think I should have gotten the Steeda. I thought the K&N FIPK was going to be a closed box that sucks from the fender opening. The "box" was just a heat shield.

I'm really kinda anti-K&N because when I was looking for a filter for my four wheeler. A mechanic told me K&N let's way too much dirt enter. They sacrifice flow for protection.

I got a similar e-bay intake. Looks great, akes the sucking noise, prob. gained me 2hp or so... better throttle response and I saved oh... $160.
