More Rumble and Lowering questions
I still don't have the rumble that I want on my '98GT. I heard a guy's car that I really liked the sound, and he told me that he put on a H-Pipe with high flow cats and had flow master mufflers. I have the MAC cat back with Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers. Will a new H-pipe with high flow cats do the trick? Secondly, I purchased the Ford Racing C springs to lower my car. I haven't installed them yet, anyone have experience with these springs? When I do lower my car, do I have to upgrade to aftermarket struts and shocks or can the factory ones due for a while?

RE: More Rumble and Lowering questions
OMG....... boy, sit down and READ! Do some research before you dive into these things...Let me get this straight... you paid the $350 for a MAC cat-back, then cut out the mufflers and welded in Flowmasters? OMFG.... If this is the case, you must now relinquish all fo your mod money to me b/c you have no idea what you're doing.
And to answer the question, go w/ a catted or non-catted X or H pipe from MAC, Magnaflow, Bassani, BBK etc... and your exhaust note will change.

RE: More Rumble and Lowering questions
I don't claim to be an expert, just trying to get my car how I want it. If you can give a tip, please do. The cat back was on the car when I bought it and I replaced the mufflers because I thought the flowmasters would rumble more. The sound is not much different, but it was more responsive to the gas pedal. After the flowmaster install my car seemed to jump out more in 1st and 2nd gear.
