65' Flywheel-How Many Teeth?

Default 65' Flywheel-How Many Teeth?

i have a 65' 289 and i was wondering if some one could tell me if it has 157 teeth or 164 teeth. and does the # of teeth have an affect on the starter?

yes,it does make a difference. more than likely if its the original tranny its gonna be a 157! the 14 is a much larger bellhousing that would take up tons of space
