Default Need HVAC help fast!

My car only blows air out of the defogger vents way at the front of the dash. I charged the AC and want to use it but the car just doesn't get cold from air just blowing at the windshield. I tried another HVAC control unit and it didn't help either. How many vacuum lines run from the engine bay to the inside of the car to the unit? Maybe 1 jsut isn't connected for whatever reason. Any other ideas? This is my daily driver so I need air! 1995 mustang gt.

Just let the Dealer repair it under warranty.Sure sounds as if the problem has alot to do with your control unit in the car.Is it an Automatic control system or manual? Could there be a blockage in the duct work(ie)did a small object fall into the defogger vents.Has the car ever been in an accident? Did it do this prior to your A/C recharge?Seems coincidental...

You have a vacuum source problem. Look around under the hood near the pass side firewall for any that are disconnected.
