Default Heads and Cams

I need all the help I can get on this one. I've got a 2002 GT, it's an automatic, yea yea i know... I know i want to get new cams, so i can get that rough idle like in the old school muscle cars, but do i have to get new cyl. heads to do that, and is it beneficial to get new port and pol. cyl heads? Also, ones i change the cams i need to get bigger injectors and TB and Plenum right?

what mods do you have? I think cam shoud be after you finish all your other boltons including full exhaust. You dont need heads to do a cam.

I have a full exhaust done, bbk shorties, slp x-pipe and loudmouth catback. I also have BBK cold air intake, and i have my bbk TB and plenum on the way. how much of an increase would i see in getting port and polished heads with the cams vice just the cams?
