Default Another problem with the navigator...

ive noticed this for about a mouth now..and i think nows the time to address it...

i notice whenever i make the hard right into my drive way i hear a loud "CLANK" noise from the front suspension...and when i hit the crub to go into the driveway..i hear the clank noise again...

i am thinking its the tie rod, or wheel bearings....could also be a strut..

does anyone know what the problem could be?

If your only hearing the sound while hard cornering it's probably either the CV joint or U joint whichever one the Navigator uses

I kno the sway bar ends go bad on exploders all the time. It looks like a little metal rod coming from the sway bar to the control arm. Will break. Not sure about expeditions.

+1 on what White Fox said. The Fox body Mustangs do the same thing. Best way to find out is to put the frontend up on jackstands so the wheels drop all the way down. Put the stands under the frame. You will then see if they are broke.
