ya that was my thoughts tahts y i put it back on
now im looking for anything to do thats cheap and can make my car faster at all
but ya i think it was with diff gas now that i think about it but not positive...

if you have an automatic, take out the 1-2 and 2-3 accumulator springs and drill out related holes to .100-.110 diameter

it makes the transmission shift better, is almost free except for gaskets and atf fluid, and is safer/more effective than any shift kit(avoid transgo like the plague)

well... i have driven some stock stangs and I know how 'soft' the shifter feels. Mine does not. The guy I got mine from, removed the little insulater and bolted the shifter handle straight to the shifter w/o the insulator. Shifts feel more firm and you get a more direct feel for the transmission

take off your AC... im not sure if you need to get a pully for it.. or wether or not it can just bypass that pulley with a shorter belt... that would drop weight and give you some hp.. not big but something..
