Okay, before I get laughed off the forums, I'm going to go ahead and do it for you guys. Haha...
This was a noob error. Apparently I had manually turned the dome light on by twisting the headlight ****. Good thing my mom was on MSN...
And for those of you wondering, I'm a big newb to cars. I've owned this car for two months, it's my first car, I learned to drive in this car, and I've had my license for 8 days. And for those of you wondering still, no I'm not a spoiled rich kid... just some guy with nothing to live for, and nothing he cares about, so he spent all his spare cash on a nice ride in the hopes that it might salvage his miserable existence. So far, it's doing a good job... it's giving me something new to explore, and allowing me to take my old explorations to new levels. School for example... and for those of you geeky enough: Magic the Gathering (I could never get to events since I never had a car). [/rant]

My first car was a convertible, while I test drove 80 million cars before I got my 02 GT next, I had no idea the dome light was operated by the headlight ****.
My dome light stayed on and couldn't figure out how the hell to shut it off, I must have spent 20 minutes sitting inside my car wondering how the hell to turn that piece of crap off....then......damn! I figggggered it out and felt stupid as hell.
We get a "how do I turn my dome light off" threads a lot more often than you'd think.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was scared I'd have a dead battery. Also, I had had trouble with my hood the same night... Apparently you really have to SLAM the hood to get it to latch down.
